A lot has happened since Dr. Loïc Le Ribault discovered the therapeutic potential of organic silica more than 40 years ago. Initially extracted from certain detrital silica sands, today we have such advanced formulas as Silicium G7 Original and G7 Siliplant.
But here, the million-dollar question arises. If both products contain the same type of molecule and are taken in the same way... what makes them different? Which is better?
What are the differences between Silicium G7 Original and G7 Siliplant?
Origin: mineral vs. vegetable
The most evident distinction between these products lies in how the organic silica they contain is obtained.
We start from the assumption that this element is the second most abundant in the earth's crust. However, it does not occur as such in nature, but in the form of silicates and silicon oxides in rocks and minerals. Or as orthosilicic acid in plant leaves and stems.
Silicium G7 Original is of mineral origin, as it is obtained from the former. The non-absorbable silicates are processed to produce monomethylsilanetriol (silanol), a perfectly absorbable organic silica molecule.
In addition, G7 Siliplant is formulated with silicic acid extracted from plant sources. This is achieved through the extrusion of plants from certified organic farming.
Composition and purity
Silicium G7 Original is the original "recipe" patented by Dr. Le Ribault, so it contains pure, pure silica. No preservatives.
However, G7 Siliplant incorporates two medicinal plants: horsetail extract and rosemary. And it does contain preservatives, but they are completely natural.
Both formulas contain silicon in similar, but not identical amounts.
While the usual 30mL daily dose of Silicium G7 Original contains 5mg of organic silica, an identical volume of G7 Siliplant contains 12mg.
However, on a practical level, the efficacy they offer is very similar.
Here, the two products have one point in common: they equally provide the multiple benefits of organic silica. Highlights:
- They preserve youthful skin, revitalise hair and strengthen nails.
- They improve bone, muscle and joint health.
- They protect the heart from some cardiovascular issues.
- They keep the nervous system healthy.
The difference lies in the medicinal plants included in G7 Siliplant, contributing to the overall therapeutic effect.
- Horsetail (Equisetum arvense, L.) contains silicic acid and various compounds that suggest antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and diuretic action (among others).
- Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis, L.) has been shown to be a potent antioxidant as well as anti-inflammatory, diuretic, carminative and anti-infective
Although the composition is very similar, the treatments for which each formula is intended vary.
G7 Siliplant is recommended for more general use, mainly as an anti-aging agent and for joint, skin, hair, and nail care.
It also prevents aluminium from accumulating in the human body by inducing its urinary excretion. Therefore, it is considered neuroprotective and can be used to reduce the risk of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease.
Silicium G7 Original concentrates the properties of organic silica, so it is recommended for more specific conditions such as autoimmune disorders or rare chronic pathologies.
So, which is the best Silicium G7?
Seeing the distinctions between G7 Original and G7 Siliplant, you may now be wondering which is preferable to use.
The reality is that both are very effective and have been formulated in such a way that their stability and bioavailability are the highest. In English: our body assimilates them perfectly, thus guaranteeing their therapeutic activity.
In addition, they have no contraindications or side effects.
Thus, whether one or the other is indicated depends on the problem you want to treat with them. For example:
- Do you need to rejuvenate your skin or give shine and strength to your hair? Opt for G7 Siliplant.
- Do you have rheumatoid arthritis and want to strengthen your joints? Then choose G7 Original.
In any case, remember that you should always consult your GP if you have any doubts. And, above all, don't wait any longer to start taking care of yourself, as the two G7 Silicium can be of great help to you. Take action!
